The following are guidelines for renting at Lake Salem:

1)   A $200 security deposit is required, unless waived, which will be returned within 10 days if the cottage is left as you found it.
2)   No additional deposit is required for pets.  However, any damage or waste clean up caused by pets will be deducted from the security deposit.
3)   A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold the cottage and is due no later than January 1, 2024.  Full payment is due by May 1, 2024.
4)   Cancellations are treated as follows:
     - 30 days in advance will be refunded less the $200 deposit    
     - Within 30 days of rental will result in forfeit of payment if we are unable to rent the cottage.  The only exception will be if a medical condition requires the cancellation.
5)   The cottage will be left open with the key in the door for your arrival.  Our on site hosts, Phill and/or Michelle Quijano, will stop by on Sunday to make sure you are settled and answer any questions you may have.
6)  In an effort to ensure all cottagers have a pleasant visit, no more than 6 cottagers or 3 vehicles are permitted.
